We have all seen it. The National Football League athletes have strongly, silently voiced their stance against President Donald Trump.
Many of the athletes have decide to kneel in a sign of protest against American values and specifically against our National Anthem. As many of those that there are to support the athletes stance, many more are in support of President Trump and the meaning behind our National Anthem and our flag. Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, in a brief interview, took the opportunity to shoot down the legitimacy of the NFL anthem protest.

In Jones’ interview, he stated that he does not think “the place to express yourself in society is as we recognize the American flag.”
As this protest continues to grow strength, there are more people who are fans, celebrities and citizens who are disapproving the way these athletes are choosing to protest by disrespecting our flag. Our strength is continuing over their disgusting efforts of going against Trump and our nation to support the president’s urge of team owners and coaches to hold their players accountable with punishments.
U.S. Army veteran Alejandro Villanueva released a statement criticizing players such as Colin Kaepernick that protest the National Anthem and the country that provides them the opportunity to make millions of dollars annually to participate in sports, as those in the military shockingly make a salary of $20,000 that could ultimately cost their life.
Stand up America! Patriots, I ask you to stand proud and not support those who protest against our nation, our National Anthem, our flag that stands for those who have fallen. Please Share this and stand proud for the U.S.A.
