Colin Kaepernick Mom Responded To President Trump And This Is Going VIRAL!

The mother of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, was one of the many people to use Twitter in order to respond to President Trump’s criticism of NFL players who take a knee during the national anthem as a form of protest.

Kaepernick kneeled during the national anthem last season to protest police brutality, a gesture later taken up by other players. Kaepernick, a free agent, hasn’t signed with a team this year and analysts have blamed his advocacy.

Although Trump didn’t actually name Colin Kaepernick, it seemed pretty clear who his words were directed at considering he was the one who first gained notoriety last year for protesting the national anthem. And Kaepernick’s mom, Teresa Kaepernick, was quick to respond: “Guess that makes me a proud b***h!”

“As a mom, you’re protective of your kid,” she continued. “I grant you he’s a 29-year-old man, he doesn’t need my protection, but boy, somebody insults somebody you love, and your first instinct is to really wanna just go after him… It’s like a bully on a playground, I guess. It’s almost what I’ve come to expect from [Trump] and what most of us have come to expect from him… We are all just sitting back seeing what’s gonna happen in this country. There’s not much we can really do.” she later stated in an interview.

President Trump was not happy, and neither were many other Americans. His tweet firestorm was preceded by his angry speech at an Alabama rally on Friday. “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out. He’s fired! He’s fired!’”

We can all agree that these actions of kneeling during our National anthem are so disrespectful towards our Nation. President Trump truly knows how to point that out!
